A Visit to Ebony & Ivory

Ribbons, notions & haberdashery heaven
Towards the end of my Cape Town holiday I managed to squeeze in a few quick creative adventures - one of which was Ebony and Ivory. Most of you will be familiar with their beautiful ribbon designs - bright hues and quirky creations. Since my last visit the shop has expanded and is now more open plan with the antique shop next door. The result is a treasure trove of perfectly placed vintage sewing items, piles and piles of ribbon and a variety of interesting products. I added two new ribbons to my collection - Broken Gold and Gelato (perfect name). If you haven't shopped via the Ebony and Ivory online shop before or had the lovely privilege of visiting in person then be sure to add them to your wishlist or shopping list. Their ribbon is of a superior quality and worth every penny. I'm looking forward to using my new additions on some snail mail and gifts.
