Handmade Heroes

The lack of posting has been totally unacceptable, but life got in the way.  Now that the move is over...I am trying to find a space for everything which really hasn't been an easy task.

Amidst last weekends boxes, tissue paper and bubble wrap we got to run away for a couple of hours to a very adventurous birthday party.  Amelia of Whimsy was having a birthday and we were invited to don our best 'Handmade Heroes' costumes for the day.  I decided to go at the Corsage Crusader and Daniel as Sergent Chaos clad with cardboard gun and paraphernalia (he is army obsessed).  The beautiful Amelia was Mercury Girl with wings on her shoes.  The best part of the day...was the fort built in the lounge and we could all sit under a sky of blankets and enjoy our chocolate cake.  It is fun to be reminded of what it was like to be a child!  Way too much cake, blanket forts and ridiculous outfits.

I wore my very sparkly new glitter brogues (you can see them peeping out the fort).
