It has been a while! The lack of posting is due to zero internet at home / office! Not fun might I add. I have begged, pleaded, got slightly angry and now I am in an internet cafe. How chic! I wish that I was posting from a Starbucks with hot choc in hand, but alas so such luxury here in deepest, darkest Africa. So as I wait for my connection with the outside world to return, I leave you with the following and I hope that I will soon be posting from the comfort of my new red chair in my little office! Au revoir until we meet again.
You can come and see Cupcake Couture this Saturday at I heart Market at the Hellenic Hall in Durban North. *See the flyer below for details or better yet visit the I heart Market blog.
A photo for you - our new shelf in our home, enhanced with some bunting. You might recognise some of the pretties on the shelf from some of my previous posts. Daniel drew the Diana Lomo camera for me - still looking for the right home for it, but for now it lives there. The yellow clock belongs to my Mamma dearest who got it from her mom in standard 2 (grade 4). The yellow beetle belongs to my Dad who got it on a childhood holiday. Funnily enough my grandparents drove one in that exact colour - I can just imagine my Dad and his three siblings squashed in the back. Precious memories. Hoping to make lots more special ones in our home.
